Myagdi, Jyagdi, Pakwadi, Mirdi, Dharadi, Marsyangdi & so on.... there is one thing in common to all like they are the name of the place also you can notice that all name have DI attached with it. There are much more name with same suffix.
Since, DI is pure Magar word which means water.

1. Earlier times Magar use to name or more specifically mark the place in context of some water resources. One of the reason is that otherwise name would have been like this Bhanjyang or Danda based on mountains low or peak.
2. Early settlement of the Magars can be traced to these places. If we go on detail research we can found a zone where we can say that Magars were the early settlers in those region.
